I started 4 years ago making Flower Picks. These are between 6" (small succulent size) to 36", in many colors and dozens of themes. I use charms, special toppers, sparkle to catch the sunlight. I've sold over 800 at this time, 2025. Yes, I have had people copy me, and I've had customers tell me about them. But they also say that mine are still far nicer, and better priced.

At my events, I've had little girls take a flower pick and say it's a Fairy wand. Which with the metal rod that goes into the potting soil, this isn't a safe toy. So, I also started designing Fairy Wands that are beaded to both ends, without a glass (breakable) topper, no charms that could be choked on. I glue both ends to keep them safe. And I add some ribbon streamers for that magical effect. Then I thought about making some that have extra sparkle in colors perfect for a wedding. These are Wedding Wands, for the young Flower girl to carry instead of a basket of petals.

After more people started copying my idea of Flower Picks I created shaped flower picks, from arches to hoops, hearts to shapes, spirals to crosses. I had customers teaching me, because they were buying for gravesites as these picks also last longer than flowers do. So, I created a cross. Now, you wouldn't think it be that difficult. But getting a connector piece to pull 4 rods together in the middle, I actually had to find it through a Dental supply. And then the end balls because the rods had to be bigger than my normal flower picks, the end caps were another challenge to find. And I added some charms as well. People still buy the straight sticks for graves also. Sometimes in something that reminded them of "mom" or a color or "horse". Sometimes simply a wings top. Then with the hoop, I added it and 2 straight picks to a fall basket for a demo piece. A customer wanted the whole basket, everything as is. So, I made another with a hoop and 2 picks, and another customer wanted the 3 pieces without the plant.

I've made specialty ones for a quilting guild retreat, and so many themes. Unfortunately, supplies for theme tops are scarce and I've become quite limited. You'll still find them in all sizes, colors, in themes from travel, camping, music, teaching, medical, baby, flowers, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, frogs, dogs, cats, horses, quilting/sewing, cooking, bikes, real gemstones, with charms or crystals, ice cream, drinks/wine, casino/ cards n dice, and holidays Valentine's, Easter, Mother, Independence Day/Patriotic, Fall/Halloween, Christmas/Snow. Birds, Rainbows, MnM's, Care Bears, Disney/ Dumbo-Bambi-Princess-Harry Potter-Mermaid, Coffee, Flamingo, Mini Mouse, Chakra, Flowers, Strawberries, golf
About something for everyone.
So, who do you know, who loves plants? Maybe someone in a senior home? Teacher? Your workplace reception area. New baby, Gender reveal, wedding, funeral. Welcome a new neighbor. Appreciation to a coach (even a guy with a small succulent and a sport mini pl;ant pick). AND don't forget a vase of cut flowers with a stunning flower pick to keep after the flowers are done. Our spiral pick is a good support for bulb flowers like Amarilis. And I have some customers share their ideas of using one in a kitchen utensil jar or a pencil holder at their desk. Where can you think of using them?

And last, we have our 36" flower picks, these are designed for larger potted plants like indoor Hibiscus, and for outside in a flower garden or low bush. They weather well in wind and rain but bring indoors for winter snow will push them over.
