TIPS for PERFECT Rooibos Tea
1- Water Temperature: While boiling water is generally used, some people prefer slightly cooler water for a milder flavor, warm your water to your desired temperature.
2- Steeping Time: Experiment with different steep times to find your preferred strength, generally 5 minutes. However, 3-5 or 5-7 minutes works well.
3- Milk and Sugar: Many people enjoy Rooibos with milk and/or sugar. Rooibos is a naturally sweeter tea, if you do add milk, a lactose free milk is best (including almond milk, etc.), and raw pure unprocessed sugar or local honey.
TASTE:
Rooibos tea has a milk aromatic taste. It is more on the sweet side and not astringent like green tea. Most of the time, people enjoy this tea without any extra flavor, but it can also be found with various aromas.
